Saundra Smith Rubiera Saundra Smith Rubiera is a writer and illustrator of picture books. A former art teacher, she has a MFA degree in painting. Her business, Dancing Lady Designs creates custom murals and painted furniture for children's rooms. She has illustrated three books for other authors: Robert Goes Fishing/Roberto Va de Pesca (Lectorum); A Writer's Dozen, Thirteen Stories for Children, self-published by Rosemary Cleveland Barse; and Silver Candlesticks, self-published by Shirley Shapiro.
