INTENSIVES
Friday, Jan. 14, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. These three
enlightening and empowering intensives will emphasize craft,
writing exercises, and critiques. Attendance is limited to
25 people each at a cost of $155/ea.
Novel Intensive:
Presented by author Joyce Sweeney, agent Erin
Murphy, and editor Krista Marino.
Picture Book Intensive:
Presented by authors Gloria Rothstein and Laurie
Friedman, and editor Katherine Jacobs.
Writing Fantasy Intensive:
Presented by authors Cinda Williams Chima and
Alexandra Flinn, and editor Arianne Lewin.

Manuscripts for critiques due. Artists' critique fees due.
December 10, 2010: Last day to contact Laurie
Taddonio if you wish to sell books.
December 20, 2010: Last day for Early Registration.
December 30, 2010: Last day to contact, Angela Padron,
angela.padron@hotmail.com, if you wish to exhibit your
portfolio.
December 31, 2010: Last date to reserve hotel room
for special SCBWI conference room rate.
January 14, 2011: Writer's Intensives Registration,
8-9 a.m.
Conference Registration, 3:30-4:30 p.m.
January 15, 2008: Registration for those who did not
register on Friday, 7-8:30 a.m. Drop off First-Page
Critiques by 9 a.m.
Illustrators drop off portfolios between 7 and 8 a.m.
in the main conference room for art show.
Conference starts at 8:30 a.m.
